At Mums In Need, we're dedicated to providing you with the support and resources you need to thrive.

Each mum who joins us is paired with a dedicated Caseworker. They'll listen to your unique situation and create a personalised plan to help you reach your goals. From counselling sessions and legal support to practical advice, we're here to guide you every step of the way.

Please note: counselling sessions and legal support is dependent on funding.
To become part of our supportive community, we ask for a small monthly donation of £5 if you're able. This is completely voluntary and won't affect your eligibility for our services. Once you're in, all our support is provided free of charge.

Your caseworker will suggest various solutions and suggest attending different sessions based on your unique experiences and requirements. This may involve:
Counselling
Financial Workshops
Legal assistance
Peer group sessions
Personal wellbeing sessions
Family based sessions
Our sessions offer a safe space for mums to unwind, relax, and prioritise their mental health
Space to Breathe - Mindfulness sessions
Eat Sleep Mum Repeat - breaking the cycle - Mentoring workshops
Beyond Instinct -sessions with an anxiety and trauma resolution specialist
Create & Connect - art sessions
Art sessions
Horticultural therapy sessions
We also provide our families with a chance to unwind, relax, and enjoy quality time together

Mums In Need provides support to women who have left an abusive relationship, and are experiencing on-going abuse after the relationship has ended.
To receive our help you must:
Live in Sheffield or the surrounding areas in South Yorkshire.
Have left an abusive (ex) partner.
Be experiencing post-separation abuse from your ex-partner.
The continued support of our partners, supporters, and dedicated team has been instrumental in our ongoing mission to empower mothers and children facing post-separation abuse.
Thanks to funding, donations and fundraising we are delighted to have been able to support 105 women, and 189 children during our last financial year.
