Sadly our admin volunteer Janet resigned in January. We would like to thank Janet for her hard work over the past year. Our treasurer Rhian and Chair Richard have also left us this month. Thank you both for your time and support over the past few years. You will be missed!
The week commencing 7th February was Student Volunteering Week. Thank you to all our student volunteers past and present; we wouldn't be where we are without you!
Businesses - Get Involved!
Here at Mums In Need, we aim to do everything we can for the women who reach out to us. With your companies help, we can do and achieve more than we ever have before as we utilize each other's skills and assets to mutually benefit one another.
If your company shares our passion and commitment to confronting coercive control and helping vulnerable mothers, please reach out to us at email@example.com
We can also develop a bespoke package to suit your needs and wants.
We would like to thank Paul Taylor at Actus insurance, who have kindly donated two office tables for our new office!
We had a great time at the Business Showcase at Doncaster Racecourse on the 13th February. Thank you to Lynda Holbrey at Why for sponsoring our table!
We also want to say a big thanks to Print and Promotion for donating our lovely polo shirts for our staff and volunteers!
Our crowdfunder that we have been running since December to raise funds for a Team Lead/Operations manager came to an end this month. We raised an incredible £8,648 (+ est £1044.75) with 97 supporters in 56 days. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to the crowdfunder, we are incredibly grateful!
Happy 4th Anniversary to Mums In Need!
Finally, we want to say Happy Birthday to us! 14th February (valentines day) saw the charity's 4th anniversary. Thank you to our CEO Laura and all of the staff and volunteers for building this charity to what it is today, allowing us to support hundreds of women over the years.
We would love to hear some feedback from the mums we have helped. This can be your thoughts on us, coercive control or anything you would like to share and be heard! We would then like to share some snippets and quotes on our social media platforms. All input would remain anonymous.
If you would like to take part, please send your feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org
