Become a MIN Champion
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of mothers facing post-separation abuse? Do you have a strong network and a desire to use your skills for a powerful cause?
Context for Ambassador Role
In MIN’s Overall Aims and Objectives 2023 -2030, is:
“to be a trusted and influential advocate to ensure the survivor voice is heard at a local and national level in addressing the root causes of post-relationship abuse for mums”.
The MIN Ambassador is a key in helping to drive this aim forward. The role forms part of a wider strategy with several strands including building strategic national partnerships/alliances, delivering training to target audiences and ensuring that MIN has a voice at the table at the critical points where it can affect the most change. MIN will also reference it’s Sheffield-based service offering as a pilot, proving both evidence of need and a model to address it.
The Ambassador role will be a remote/hybrid role and can be located anywhere (most likely within the UK). It will be a mostly public facing role and involve using the volunteer’s existing skill set, expertise and networks to educate, raise awareness and influence change towards addressing the root causes of post-separation emotional abuse. It is expected that much of the work will take place on LinkedIn.
We ask that you commit around 1-2 hours/month towards the role – more if this works for the volunteer. The time commitment is variable and thus works well for those who are time poor yet wish to do high impact volunteering in the limited time they do have at their disposal.
About Mums In Need (MIN):

Service provision is currently Sheffield-based, with a growing national education/awareness platform to address the root cause of post-separation emotional abuse.
