For the second consecutive year, a Year 8 class from Tapton School in Sheffield has chosen Mums In Need to support through their "First Give" program. As part of this program, students work together on social action projects, raising funds and spreading awareness to support important causes.
Recently, Laura Riley, CEO of Mums In Need, and Jemima, one of our medical student volunteers, had the opportunity to present to the class. During the session, the students learned about Mums In Need, our mission, and the vital work we do to support survivors of post-separation abuse. It was a wonderful experience engaging with the next generation of changemakers and sharing our cause with them.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Tapton School and their dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
