Raising Awareness For Mums Facing Post-Separation Abuse & Coercive Control
September began on a high note thanks to our incredible partnership with the Soroptimists, a dedicated group supporting women’s empowerment and wellbeing. Our Chair of Trustees, Heather, and Vice Chair, Janet, proudly attended a special event where the Soroptimists presented a generous donation of £3,404 to Mums In Need (MIN).
This substantial donation was raised through the Soroptimists’ year-long fundraising efforts and will make a significant impact on the lives of women facing post-separation abuse and domestic violence.
Thanks to the Soroptimists’ generosity, MIN can now provide one mother with nine months of comprehensive care, including personalised one-to-one casework sessions, counselling, legal advice, wellbeing support, and peer group meetings. This holistic support plays a vital role in helping women rebuild their lives after abuse.
We are incredibly grateful to the Soroptimists for their continued commitment to supporting vulnerable women and for helping Mums In Need extend our life-changing services.
