Raising Awareness For Mums Facing Post-Separation Abuse & Coercive Control
On July 6th, 2025, Mums In Need was thrilled to take part in the vibrant Sharrow Festival, connecting with the local community and raising awareness about our mission to support women affected by post-separation abuse and coercive control.
The festival atmosphere was incredible, with countless visitors stopping by our stall to learn about our work. We were overwhelmed by the generous support and positive feedback from festival-goers, who showed a genuine interest in the impact Mums In Need is making.
Thanks to the amazing contributions through our fundraising activities, including a tombola, bric-a-brac sales, and our popular 100 Club EXPRESS, we raised a fantastic total of £285! These funds will go directly towards providing vital counselling sessions for the mums we support, an essential part of their recovery journey after experiencing abuse.
A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated volunteers whose hard work and enthusiasm made the day such a success. We couldn’t have done it without your invaluable support!
Together, we’re making a real difference—helping more women heal and rebuild their lives.
Congratulations to Rosie, our latest 100 Club EXPRESS winner! Rosie won a fantastic £50 cash prize during the Sharrow Festival by picking the lucky number from the grid for just £2.
Could you support MIN by running your own 100 Club EXPRESS? It is a great way of raising funds and awareness for mums facing post-separation abuse.
