Our CEO, Laura Riley, was honoured to speak at the Rotary Club of Sheffield, part of Rotary International, the world’s largest service organisation uniting community-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, professions, and generations.
The Rotary Club of Sheffield is dedicated to being a positive force for good in the local community and beyond. Their mission focuses on collaborating with organisations to maximise social impact, fostering mutual support while respecting diversity, and contributing to meaningful change at local, national, and international levels.
During her presentation, Laura shared the important work of Mums In Need (MIN), a charity supporting women affected by post-separation abuse. She engaged the club members in thoughtful discussions about domestic abuse and coercive control awareness, trauma-informed support, and the ongoing challenges faced by survivors. These conversations hold great potential for future partnerships and community impact.
A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Sheffield for their generous £50 donation to Mums In Need, recognising Laura’s time and valuable contribution. It was a true pleasure to connect with such a passionate group committed to making a difference.
