Launch of the "King Ecgbert Angels" Fundraising

Raising Awareness For Mums Facing Post-Separation Abuse & Coercive Control

Mums In Need CEO Laura and Ambassador Miranda were delighted to attend King Ecgbert School for the launch of this year’s Ecgbert Angels charity fundraising event.

The Sixth Form students have chosen Mums In Need as one of their supported charities and will now take on the challenge of raising as much money as possible through a range of creative fundraising initiatives. Working in teams, students will compete against each other before presenting their projects and achievements at the end of the campaign.

We are incredibly grateful to have been selected and inspired to see young people using their ideas, energy, and teamwork to support mums facing post-separation abuse. Every pound raised will help us continue supporting mothers across Sheffield and South Yorkshire as they rebuild their lives after domestic abuse and coercive control.
