On 8th March 2025, Mums In Need (MIN) proudly celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting our quarterly in-person coffee morning at Wagamama Centertainment in Sheffield. Led by our CEO, Laura Riley, and dedicated Caseworker Ursula, the event created a warm, welcoming space for the mums we support, women who have experienced post- separation abuse. to come together, relax, and connect with others on similar journeys.
These coffee mornings are more than just a social gathering, they are an essential part of our trauma, informed support services, providing mums and their children a safe environment to enjoy a break from everyday stresses, build community, and feel seen and supported. Attendees enjoyed complimentary coffee, snacks, and thoughtful conversation in a calming and inclusive atmosphere.
We were especially delighted to be joined by Andy from Space to Breathe, who led a reflective wellness session designed to promote mindfulness, calm, and emotional well-being. His contribution added an extra layer of value to the morning.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event so meaningful. We can’t wait to welcome you back at our next coffee morning!
