Raising Awareness For Mums Facing Post-Separation Abuse & Coercive Control

In December, Mums In Need was honoured to be invited to the Cutlers in Hallamshire Charity Trust to receive an incredibly generous donation of £1,000. This funding has enabled us to purchase brand-new laptops for members of our staff team.

As a small charity, we have often relied on second-hand laptops kindly donated to us. While we are hugely grateful for this support, older equipment can struggle to keep pace with the increasing demands of our work.

Having reliable, up-to-date technology makes a real difference. It allows our team to work more efficiently behind the scenes, freeing up valuable time and energy to focus on what matters most, supporting mums facing post-separation abuse.

It was a lovely event, bringing together around 10 charities who collectively received a total of £19,500 in funding. Our CEO, Laura, can be seen standing with the Master Cutler on the stairs as we proudly accepted our cheque. We were delighted to have the opportunity to talk about our work and the impact of our services, and we are incredibly grateful to the Cutlers in Hallamshire Charity Trust for their support, which will make a meaningful difference to both our team and the mums we support.
