On 16th May 2025, our dedicated Ambassador Josephine proudly represented Mums In Need (MIN) at a Breakfast Networking Event held at Rotherham United Football Ground. This community event brought together a diverse mix of local professionals, charities, business leaders, and community organisations, creating a valuable platform for collaboration, learning, and meaningful connection.
Josephine, who brings both professional insight and lived experience, spoke passionately about the vital work MIN does in supporting women facing post-separation abuse, including coercive control, emotional abuse, and the complex challenges that arise after leaving an abusive relationship. Her presence helped to raise awareness of the barriers many women face, while also highlighting the long-term, trauma-informed support that Mums In Need provides.
We are incredibly grateful for opportunities like this to amplify our mission, build partnerships with like-minded organisations, and increase visibility for our cause across South Yorkshire and beyond. Events like this help us grow our network, raise awareness of post-separation domestic abuse and coercive control, and bring much-needed attention to the hidden struggles that many women endure after separation.
